Group Statement for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
The Bertram Team recognizes systemic barriers encountered by members of historically, persistently, or systemically marginalized people in the research ecosystem. This includes, but is not limited to, women, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities, members of racialized groups and members of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. The Bertram Team is committed to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the research enterprise since it is the right thing to do, it improves the quality, relevance, and impact of the Team’s research, and it creates a healthy working environment for all members of the group.
